Goodbye Lolo Acer 4520. You’ve served me well for 3 years and I held on to you for more than a year even after your death. Time to let go now.

Last week, Ben from nanoism.net e-mailed me to say that they’re publishing my nanofiction piece. Acc. to him, it was “disturbing and effective”. That really made my day! For those who are new to the term “nanofiction”, it’s simply a story written with just 140 characters, a limit popularized by Twitter. That’s why some also call it tweetfic. 

Here’s my story:

The boil in her palm throbbed again before she could finish her lullaby. She kissed it gently but it cried.
